Things To Do In Jekyll Island | Driftwood Beach Photo Session
Being a Jekyll Island Family Vacation Photographer is such a pleasure. There is so much to do when vacationing in Jekyll Island! Like family beach portraits! With Jekyll Island having so many beautiful locations, it's so hard for clients to choose sometimes just where they want their portraits. Driftwood Beach offers some stunning scenery that makes a perfect backdrop for family sessions. Trees that have been weathered by the water and wind and lay strewn about all over the golden sands of the beach here. It's an ever-changing landscape that never ceases to surprise me - it's a little different each time I visit out there for a session!
This family drove from 3 hours away to have their portraits done on this beautiful beach. We were a little worried about the weather, but luckily it stormed early on in the day and cleared up beautifully by the evening. The recent storms also led to some absolutely picturesque skies!

As you can see, we pretty much had a blast at Driftwood Beach. These two brothers were SO CUTE together and were a joy to photograph. Such sweet kiddos!
