I was contacted by this beautiful mother-to-be (and her mother) to book both a maternity session and a newborn session. She had already had a beach maternity session, and was interested in having a maternity session in a field - which of course is my favorite location to shoot in Glynn County (in Brunswick)! Kelsey was up for anything and I had a blast doing her session. She's so beautiful and photogenic, I don't think she could take a bad picture if she tried. The grandmother-to-be also came along for the session and was a wonderful helper. Both of them have seen several of these images already, on the back of my camera. I can't help it! I get so excited at the session, I end up showing my clients some of their images right away on the LCD screen of my camera. I love seeing them get excited as well. Without further delay, here are their sneak peeks. Kelsey and Angela, I so enjoyed working with you and cannot wait to photograph your newborn baby boy! This bubblegum shot was super fun to do! It seemed to totally suit her as well.
I am very drawn to images where the model is not always looking right at the camera. Images like the one below tend to pull me in and make me think. I love how her outfit totally complements the field setting.
These were all shot with my new 70-200L lens! I can say for sure that this lens will be my new workhorse. Look at that amazing bokeh! It just obliterates the background and brings all the focus on the beautiful new mama-to-be.
Just look at those eyes, would you! Amazing brown eyes with so much dimension. Kelsey you are one gorgeous mama!
