St. Simon's Island Maternity Photographer | The Yawn Family's Session
It's no secret that studio maternity sessions are quickly becoming my favorite type of maternity session to do. Don't get me wrong though - I love photographing on location as well. There's just something about the absolute simplicity of my studio that makes for a perfect, simple backdrop for your maternity session. This maternity session was a real treat for me as soon-to-be big sister tagged along for the session as well and she was a real treat. SO sweet and helpful! Before coming to see me at the studio in Redfern Village, this Mama to be was treated to some pampering from The Back Porch Salon & Spa where she had her hair, makeup and eyelashes done in preparation for her session. Even soon to be big sister had her hair done! I strongly encourage all my clients to have their hair and make up done. Not only is it so nice to be pampered, but it really helps to provide a finishing touch for your portraits.
All my clients are able to choose clothing from my studio wardrobe for their sessions. I have a carefully curated selection of clothing for both Mamas and babies, and a few sizes for toddlers/children as well.
It was very hard to narrow down favorites from this session. I loved that we focused not only on this Mama and baby bump, but also on big sister. I know she will cherish these memories from her last few weeks of being an only child.
