Saint Simon's Island Family Photographer | Baxter Family Session

I love being a Saint Simon's Island family photographer!  We have so many beautiful places around Saint Simon's Island and The Golden Isles to choose from for family sessions.  I first met this sweet Mama a few months ago when her services were recommended to me for hair and makeup for my maternity and family clients.  You may even recognize her if you've watched the behind-the-scenes video I shared HERE.  She's the face behind the beautiful hair and makeup that so many of my Mama's choose to have done for their sessions!  I was so excited to book her family session for her little St. Simon's Island family and even more excited when she opted to have the session done in my favorite field!  I'd met her two little guys once before and let me tell you...they are A-dor-a-ble!  We're talking GAP model material here, y'all. 

As with all my sessions, we did a wardrobe consult for Xada and her boys.  I carry a full selection of clothing for children up to size 5 and so many clients have told me how helpful that was for them...they didn't even have to shop.  I try to take care of everything for them!  All clothing here was borrowed from the studio wardrobe for their session.  Don't they all look just perfect together?  Timeless, classic, simple.  My favorite things for my family session portraits.

It was hard to narrow down to some of my favorites, but here they are:

Xada and her boys totally surprised me, too, when they pulled up for the session.  You see, they'd brought someone along with them.  Someone famous.  They brought their very own Santa Claus!  So of course we included him in a few of the portraits.  What fun!

I hope you love their portraits as much as I do.  There's nothing I love better than capturing a Mama with her children.  Motherhood portraits.  Family session.  Call it whatever you like.  I firmly believe that Mamas need to make sure we are more often in the pictures with our children than not.  Believe me when I say, there is nothing that they will cherish more in the years to come.
