St. Simon's Island Family Beach Photographer | Gould's Inlet Beach

Meet the McDaniel family.  When this Mama contacted me about booking her family beach session in St. Simon's Island, she told me that this portrait session would be the first session she would have had since both the girls were much younger.  Right away I knew we had to remedy that and get her in with her daughters for their session.  We all know how life is and how busy we get in the day-to-day responsibilities, right?  Portrait sessions are SO easy to put off for so many reasons - time, wardrobe, want to lose weight, wait for a better haircut, don't want to shop...etc etc.  I'm sure you can relate! 

These beautiful ladies all opted to borrow their clothing from my extensive studio wardrobe for their family session at Gould's Inlet Beach in St. Simon's Island. We all met up at the studio a couple of weeks before their session and it was like a party!  I don't think I've ever laughed so much as I did with these ladies as they tried on dress after dress and paraded around for each other to see and critique.  Lots of fun!

The oldest daughter's boyfriend and his son came along as well for the session and to join in a few photos.  FYI...while he may have been *just* a boyfriend at the time of the session...I must brag a bit and say MIss A was just recently proposed to (at Disney World no less!) and now they are engaged to be married. Congratulations A, I'm so happy for you guys!

I had just the best time with them during their beach family session.  Lots of laughs of course, but lots of silliness and playfulness between this sweet family.  I loved being invited to have a peek into this family's obvious love for each other.  It was so hard to narrow down to what favorites I wanted to share here, but here they are:

The light was *almost* gone here but I love the last remainder of the golden glow on them!
