Pretty in Peach Newborn Session | Meet Miss Amelia

Although I honestly love *all* my newborn sessions, I must admit that this one has been one of my favorites to date.  This sweet newborn baby girl did exceptional during her session and she and her family were so much fun to get to know over the course of a few months with their maternity session followed by their newborn session.  Y'all know I'm pretty much a neutral and pastel loving girl by now, but there's this one pastel peachy/coral fabric I've held onto for over a year without using it.  When I met Miss Amelia for the first time, I simply knew she would be pretty in peach.  And of course it worked out very well that her nursery was done in this color as well! Here are some of their (and my!) favorites.  I *tried* to talk her Daddy out of his hat - while we did a couple without - their favorites were the ones with him in his hat because that's *him*.  I still love these images, and I am happy to include personal items that mean something to the parents!  CUTENESS WARNING AHEAD - Be sure to check out that huge grin Miss Amelia gave when her Daddy was holding her.  I mean...I just might have squealed when I took that portrait!

Isn't she just beautiful??  Here are the one that show how pretty in peach she is...

Now this last portrait was one they ordered a HUGE canvas in for their living room.  This next image is a composite.  What that means is that it took more than one image to make the final portrait.  Although it looks like Miss Amelia was laying in this basket unaided, she was not.  The first image I took was of the basket by itself with all the fluffing in it.  Then we put baby girl in it and while her Daddy held the basket with one hand and baby with the other.  There was quite a bit of cloning to do to get her Daddy out of the final image, but all the work was worth it to get the resulting portrait and get it done safely.
